lululemon

for the Chicago Marathon Expo

Preceding the Chicago Marathon, the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo features more than 180 exhibitors offering the latest in running footwear, apparel, nutrition and technology. In 2019, lululemon athletica tasked ESP Presents with producing their exhibition space at the Expo in Chicago’s McCormick Place.

The design went through several iterations, which can be seen below, and I utilized tools like SketchUp and Photoshop to deliver designs to the lululemon team. Part of the space was to be dedicated to selling merchandise, while the other was intended to be a “reflection space” where runners were encouraged to write personal messages of gratitude or inspiration on postcards, to be mailed to their loved ones.

Artwork

Large scale graphics were created for the exhibit, some using existing visual assets and others involving the design of new creative. We also created a range of stickers and vinyl decals for the exhibit, and I facilitated the production process with our vendors, ensuring the quality of printing at this scale.

The Chicago-specific artwork, namely that which features the deconstructed map of the city and the coordinates, was original artwork I created, with respect to the lululemon brand guidelines.
